The backdrop at Mike Vrabel’s house stole the show during the first round of the NFL Draft. It had a little bit of everything.
Not only was the coach caught using chewing tobacco on life television, his children were in the background dressed in strange outfits for the event. There was even a question about whether or not someone in the house was taking a….well, you know.
Turns out, thankfully, nobody was on the toilet while the Tennessee Titans were making their pick on Thursday night. And as far as the costumes go, Vrabel had a pretty simple explanation.

Associated Press NFL writer and reporter Teresa Walker was able to get the scoop on what was happening inside the Vrabel home on Thursday night. It turns out that the teens were just getting a little bored during the quarantine period and wanted to have some fun.
With folks being stuck indoors for the last month, that makes plenty of sense.
So @CoachVrabel50 says it’s been a long quarantine and teens wanted to do something different behind him when #Titans picked. And Vrabel says Tyler was on a barstool next to his mom, not on a toilet as some think.

Thursday night was the first time in NFL Draft history that the event was conducted virtually. And, for the Vrabel family, it’ll certainly be one worth remembering. Or at least we’ll remember this backdrop for quite some time.
