Minnesota-Illinois hoops game for Sunday is postponed due to COVID-19
Another sports contest is postponed due to COVID-19.
The Minnesota-Illinois men’s basketball matchup that was scheduled for Sunday has officially been postponed as Illinois has been dealing with an outbreak.
The game will now take place on Tuesday at 6 p.m. ET.

Illinois also already had to cancel its matchup against Texas A&M this past Wednesday due to the outbreak.
The Fighting Illini are coming off a blowout win against Missouri on Dec. 22 and are 9-3 overall (2-0 in B1G play).
This game against Minnesota will also have Ayo Dosunmu’s jersey ceremony. The Golden Gophers come into this matchup at 10-1 overall, with their only loss coming at the hands of the Michigan State Spartans.
