The 62-year-old Addazio has also coached at Temple (2011-2012) and Boston College (2013-2019), with an overall record of 61-67 between his three stops. The most wins in a season for Addazio was nine in his first season at Temple. Addazio never exceeded seven wins during his tenure at Boston College.
Colorado State hasn’t had a winning season since going 7-6 in three straight seasons from 2015-2017 under former coach Mike Bobo. The Rams haven’t won a bowl game since the New Mexico Bowl in 2013 under former coach Jim McElwain. Colorado’s last Mountain West Conference title dates back to 2002 under former coach Sonny Lubick.
