A handful of B1G newcomers have been labeled as the transfer players to keep an eye on for the upcoming season, according to 247Sports. Three players coming into the league were mentioned.
This week, 247Sports released a list of “transfer sleepers to know” for the upcoming season. Three new additions to the B1G received recognition. Those three players are:
Samori Toure, WR, Nebraska (from Montana)
Derrick Tangelo, DT, Penn State (from Duke)
Dylan Wright, WR, Minnesota (from Texas A&M)
Toure was a first-team FCS All-American in 2019 after totaling 1,495 yards and 13 touchdowns on 87 receptions. He’s expected to come in and immediately help out the Nebraska receivers group.
Tangelo played in 45 career games while at Duke and was credited with 114 tackles, 12 for loss and 4.5 sacks for the Blue Devils. He brings 27 starts at the Power 5 level to Happy Valley.
Wright is a bit of an unknown heading to Minnesota. He played in 8 total games for Texas A&M in two seasons but did not record any statistics.
