For Saturday’s Iowa-Ohio State meeting, there will reportedly be multiple NFL scouts in attendance, per Eleven Warriors’ Dan Hope.

Both sides have NFL prospects and the scouts will be looking at potential fits for the 2023 NFL Draft. The scouts will be trying to confirm the team’s interest in certain prospects. It will be an opportunity for the scouts to make assessments on some of the best players from Ohio State and Iowa.

The Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears will have the most representation at the game in Columbus. The Falcons have a 3-3 record and the Bears are 2-4 heading into Week 7. Based on how the season unfolds, both teams could be interested in players from either school in the early rounds of the draft.

The other teams that will have scouts in attendance will be the Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions, New York Giants, and New York Jets. With a 1-5 record, scouts from the Panthers could be taking a look at Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud. The Panthers are in contention for the No. 1 pick in next year’s draft. The Lions are also in the running for the No. 1 draft pick, as they sit with a 1-4 record.

Iowa will play Ohio State at 12 p.m. ET on FOX.
