Multiple Ohio State, Michigan football players join popular restaurant chain for NIL deal
With the new NCAA rules allowing for collegiate athletes to benefit financially from their Name, Image and Likeness, endorsement deals have been becoming more and more commonplace.
Along with the players themselves reaping the benefits, companies are looking to use the concept to help raise money for charity, and give back to the communities.
Outback Steakhouse has recently announced they will be teaming up with three schools to join its new TeamMATES program. According to Outback, the new initiative, “celebrates all the good that comes with being a teammate in sports and in the community and allows each TeamMATE to showcase the attributes needed to be a great part of a team – dependability, trust, commitment, and a good attitude.”.
