One of the most anticipated decisions of this recruiting cycle comes from 5-star defensive end and top five prospect Zach Harrison. On Monday, the heavily-recruited lineman hinted at how and when he’ll make his announcement.
Tom VanHaaren, a recruiting analyst with ESPN, tweeted out that Harrison said he’ll “likely tweet out his commitment at some point close to noon on Wednesday and fax in his national letter of intent.”
Harrison’s announcement will be of particular interest to Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State, all of which are expected to still be in the running.

Harrison is a 5-star defensive end out of Lewis Center, Ohio. He’s ranked as the No. 1 player at his position and the top player from his home state. Overall, Harrison is the No. 4 prospect in the 2019 recruiting class.
College football’s Early Signing Period begins on Wednesday, and many talented prospects will be inking their National Letter of Intent on that day. But all eyes will be on Harrison’s announcement that day.
Currently, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State ranked No. 1-No. 3 in the B1G recruiting rankings, respectively. The Wolverines are eighth national with Ohio State and No. 10 and the Nittany Lions at 12th.
