Dwyane Wade didn’t play college basketball in the B1G, but he’s a big believer in the conference this year.

Wade revealed his bracket picks for the 2021 NCAA Tournament. The NBA legend has a B1G-heavy Final Four this year, picking three teams from the league to reach the pinnacle of the sport.

Michigan, Ohio State and Illinois are the three teams Wade has reaching the Final Four, along with No. 1 overall seed Gonzaga. But Wade’s B1G love doesn’t end there. He has the Fighting Illini and Wolverines squaring off in the championship game, with Michigan winning it all.

It’s noteworthy that Wade played with Juwan Howard while with the Miami Heat. Before taking the head coaching job at U-M, Howard was also a longtime assistant coach for the Heat.

Wade’s selection runs counter to what happened between the two programs in the regular season. In their only meeting, Illinois thumped Michigan 76-53 in Ann Arbor without Ayo Dosunmu on the floor. While there was some hope of a rematch in the B1G Tournament, it didn’t happen, as the Wolverines were bounced in the semifinal round by Ohio State.

But, this is March and anything can happen. Below is Wade’s complete March Madness bracket:
