NBC Sports analyst getting ripped over Top 5 WR rankings for 2022 NFL Draft

NBC Sports analyst Chris Simms is getting ripped for his recent ranking of the Top 5 wide receivers in this year’s NFL Draft class. The list he produced this week certainly had some interesting names included.
Making Simms Top 5 list included:
- Jameson Williams, Alabama
- Christian Watson, North Dakota State
- Alec Pierce, Cincinnati
- Treylon Burks, Arkansas
- Drake London, USC
Not mentioned in the list were stars like Garrett Wilson (Ohio State), Chris Olave (Ohio State) or Jahan Dotson (Penn State). All three are expected to be first-round selections in this year’s NFL Draft.
Simms defended and justified his rankings with a video on YouTube. Still, that didn’t really appease the masses. He caught plenty of grief for his takes on social media:

When it comes to the NFL Draft, it always takes a few years to see how these projections pan out. Not many will look back on these rankings to see if Simms was right or not, but it certainly taking social media by storm.
