The NCAA Tournament Selection Committee offered fans a look at the top of the bracket early Saturday afternoon. That preview of March Madness included the top 16 teams in the country and their seeding as things stand on Feb. 18.

According to the committee, Alabama lands the No. 1 overall seed in the country. Despite a recent loss to Tennessee, the committee has the Crimson Tide ahead of Houston, Purdue and Kansas in the group of No. 1 seeds.

With the way the No. 1 seeds shake out, Purdue would be projected to play in the East Region. Alabama in the South, Houston in the Midwest and Kansas in the West is how the rest of the regions stack up.

Indiana was the only other B1G program to make it in the top 16 teams. The Hoosiers were slotted as the No. 4 seed in the South Region in a group at the top that includes Alabama, Baylor and Virginia.
