One of the top players in the 2021 recruiting class has included two B1G schools in his top 15.
Dylan Brooks, a five-star weak-side defensive end out of Roanoke, Alabama, revealed his top 15 schools recently. Nebraska and Maryland both made the cut for the talented lineman. He made his announcement via Twitter.
Brooks’ top 15 was loaded with SEC and ACC programs, as those two conferences accounted for 12 spots. Texas was the lone Big XII program.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Brooks is the second-best weak-side defensive end in the 2021 class and is the No. 2 player out of Alabama. Overall, the 6-foot-5, 205-pound end sits at No. 24 nationally.
The two schools in his home state, Alabama and Auburn, appear to be the current leaders for the prized five-star prospect. Obviously there’s still plenty of time to make a decision.
So far, Nebraska and Maryland have been doing things right by Brooks. We’ll see if they continue to stay in the running as he continues to narrow down his choices.
