We may finally have a start time for the first B1G game of the 2020 football season.

According to the Nebraska Athletics website, a kickoff time and broadcast network has been listed for the Huskers’ season opener against No. 6 Ohio State, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24. A start time is set for 12 p.m. ET (11 a.m. CT), with the contest airing on FOX.

Ohio State’s website does not currently reflect the same information. If that’s the true start time, it’s currently the only B1G game in Week 1 that has a kickoff time.

Both Nebraska and Ohio State were instrumental in getting the B1G to reconsider its original decision on postponing the 2020 football season. Now, the two programs go from allies to enemies in the Week 1 showdown, as part of the conference’s nine-game, nine-week schedule for 2020.

The two teams have met eight times in history, with the Buckeyes owning a 7-1 lead in the all-time series. The two teams have played every season since 2016, with Ohio State each of those four matchups, three by double-figures. The Huskers’ victory in the series came in 2011.

Last year, Ohio State defeated Nebraska 48-7 in Lincoln.
