The College Football Playoff Committee will always get some negative feedback on their selections, but the most recent BCS simulations look very similar to the latest CFP Rankings.

Though the BCS system was left behind, the people at BCS Know How have kept the formula alive. They continue to run BCS simulations to see what the rankings would look like today.

Following Tuesday’s unveiling of the latest CFP Rankings, BCS Know How tweeted out a side-by-side look at the top 16 teams on both systems. Coming out of Week 12, both systems agreed on teams No. 1-6, including Alabama at No. 5. Ohio State was also at No. 2 on each.

Penn State checked in at No. 8 on each, and Minnesota was the lone B1G discrepancy between the two. The Gophers checked in at No. 11 on the BCS simulations but were No. 10 on the CFP.
