NFL.com grades every B1G prospect
It’s one thing to be drafted. It’s another to be called a potential future all-pro before playing a down in the NFL.
Very few players earn that distinction. Most players head into the draft between a 5.00-5.69 on NFL.com’s grading scale.
What exactly does that mean? Well, it means that they’ll likely be drafted and start out as an NFL backup. There are deviations within that class that suggest what one’s maximum NFL potential could be.
These are all obviously preliminary grades compiled by NFL.com that has game film and the combine taken into account. Each player has a profile that states why they were given that specific grade.
While the scale might seem harsh, Ezekiel Elliott actually had the third-highest grade of any prospect while Joey Bosa ranked sixth.
