NFL head coach tests positive for COVID-19
An NFL head coach has tested positive for COVID-19 in the middle of the preseason.
Sunday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has tested positive for the virus. Vrabel made the announcement on a Zoom call. He is now quarantining.

Tennessee played Tampa Bay in the second week of the NFL preseason on Saturday. The Titans posted a 34-3 victory to improve to 2-0 this preseason.

Vrabel said he tested positive on Sunday morning. He also stated that none of the other coaches who were tested on Sunday morning returned a positive result.
Vrabel is in his fourth year as the head coach of the Titans. He has posted a 29-19 record and has made two playoff appearances.
Tennessee has one preseason game left, hosting the Chicago Bears on Saturday, Aug. 28.
