NFL preseason action is into Week 2 of the action with teams gearing up for the regular season. For a number of players, the race for a roster spot is in full swing with a lot on the line.

On Friday, 3 games will dot the primetime landscape. In particular, a group of former B1G receivers will be in action in the game between the Green Bay Packs and the New Orleans Saints.

Here is the full Friday schedule:

  • Carolina Panthers at New England Patriots – 7 pm ET
  • New Orleans Saints at Green Bay Packers – 8 pm
  • Houston Texans at Los Angeles Rams – 10 pm

A first-round draft pick, Chris Olave has high expectations with the Saints. He had a catch for 4 yards in the preseason opener but only received 1 target before shutting it down for the night.

On the other side of the ball, a pair of receivers are fighting for roster spots with the Packers. Samori Toure (Nebraska) and Danny Davis (Wisconsin) have both had their moments in training camp and hoping to land on the regular-season roster.
