There was some scary news for Washington Commanders’ rookie Brian Robinson on Sunday. He was reportedly shot multiple times in an attempted robbery per J.P. Finlay of NBC Sports Washington.
Robinson’s injuries are thankfully non life threatening, according to sources. He played his college career at Alabama, and was the team’s leading rusher last season with 1,343 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns. Robinson was selected by the Commanders in the 3rd round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The rookie RB last appeared in a game on Aug. 20 when the team played the Kansas City Chiefs in their 2nd preseason game. He had 8 carries with 31 yards rushing.
Robinson is luckily in stable condition after the shooting. We’ll see if any more details come out about his status in the coming days.
