Nick Saban might have more to deal with after Alabama’s last-second loss to Tennessee. The head coach addressed a reported allegation following the game involving wide receiver Jermaine Burton and a female fan.

According to a report from TMZ, the Georgia transfer appeared to strike a female fan in the head as he is leaving the field. Many fans can be seen rushing the field around the alleged incident following the Vols’ victory. More than 100,000 fans were in Neyland Stadium on Saturday night.

We will see if there might be a need for some more protocol following field-rushing incidents at the end of games. The SEC fined Tennessee $100K for storming the field Saturday night.

As for Burton, the consequences are something to monitor. Alabama faces Mississippi State on Saturday night with Burton as one of Bryce Young’s top targets.
