This year’s B1G basketball season featured some dynamic players and impressive performances, but that will not necessarily translate to a high draft pick for these B1G stars.

Gary Parrish with CBS Sports unveiled his latest NBA mock draft on Friday, and the top two picks were not shocking. Parrish predicted Oklahoma State forward Cade Cunningham to go No. 1 overall, followed by Gonzaga guard Jalen Suggs going No. 2 overall.

Those two picks are likely to be expected, but the mock draft featured just two B1G players in the first round. Along with that, no B1G player was mocked within the first 15 picks of the draft.

The first B1G player off the board in the mock is Illinois guard Ayo Dosunmu. He is predicted to go to the Oklahoma City Thunder at No. 16.

Dosunmu was the 2021 B1G Tournament MVP and averaged 20.1 points per game to go with 6.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists. He also put up two triple-doubles during the season for the Illini.

The only other player from the B1G mocked as a first-round selection is Michigan forward Franz Wagner. He is mocked to the New York Knicks at No. 21 overall.

Wagner averaged 12.5 points per game for the Wolverines this past season while improving his three-point shooting to 34% from deep. He also averaged 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and a block as a versatile wing for Juwan Howard’s squad.
