Because of the commitment and requirements it takes to be a college football player these days, some guys may not get the opportunity to enjoy the holiday festivities as much as they’d like. That might have been the case with North Texas quarterback Mason Fine.
Halloween was on Thursday, but Fine decided to have his costume ready to go for the postgame press conference following North Texas’ game against UTEP.
Fine balled out on Saturday, throwing for 332 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 24-of-39 passes. The result was a 52-26 victory for North Texas, improving the team’s record to 4-5 on the year.
After the game, Fine decided to have a little fun and get dressed up for the postgame presser…in his dinosaur costume. That’s right, Fine answered questions from the media while wearing a T-Rex costume.
Hey, when you throw seven touchdown passes in a game, you can pretty much do whatever you want, right? At least that’s the approach Fine is taking.
