There was an interesting call that took place in the Big 12 Championship game. Officials didn’t seem to catch an obvious false start penalty on Kansas State during the first half

The Wildcats ended up scoring on the same play after the no-call. Kansas State QB Will Howard threw a six-yard TD pass to TE Ben Sinnott on 4th down and 1 to go. TCU fans will be hoping that the no-call doesn’t come back to hurt them later on in the game.

The penalty may have forced the Wildcats to consider a field goal in that situation, but there’s no way to tell now.

After USC’s loss to Utah, TCU will be trying to hold onto its College Football Playoff spot in the hopes that it doesn’t become the next team to get upset on Championship Weekend.

The Horned Frogs’ last Big 12 title came in 2014. Sonny Dykes will be trying to get the team some hardware before bowl season starts.
