Ohio State gets game-changing INT before halftime against Penn State
Ohio State is taking a 14-10 lead into the halftime break against Penn State on Saturday afternoon.
For a while, it looked like it would be the Nittany Lions who took a lead into the locker room. But with 11 seconds remaining, Ohio State defensive back Davison Igbinosun came up with a miracle interception to keep Penn State off the score board.
Igbinosun was in one-on-one coverage with a Penn State receiver. After initially looking like it was a Penn State touchdown, it turned out that Igbinosun was able to corral the ball before falling out of bounds.
Here’s a replay of the remarkable INT:

That was a fitting end to a wild first half in Happy Valley. Ohio State also had points taken off the board when quarterback Will Howard fumbled the ball through the end zone, resulting in a touchback.
Penn State’s only touchdown of the day so far came on a pick-6 by Howard in the first quarter. The Nittany Lions put together solid drives at the beginning of the first half and at the end, but they managed just 3 total points from those possessions.
Penn State is looking for its first win over Ohio State since 2016.
