Ohio State, Iowa make final 3 for 4-star safety in class of 2022
Ohio St and Iowa got uplifting news Saturday afternoon on the recruiting trail.
4-star safety Xavier Nwankpa has Ohio State, Iowa and Notre Dame in his final 3.
Nwankpa is the No. 3 Safety in the class of 2022 according to 247 Composite Rankings. He is the No. 45 player nationally and No. 1 in Iowa.

Iowa is ranked 12 in the B1G for the class of 2022 and ranked 58th nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Ohio State is ranked No. 2 in the B1G for the class of 2022 and No. 6 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Iowa and Ohio State are both ranked in the AP Top-25 poll. Iowa is No. 5 in the country, while Ohio State is No. 11 in the land.
The Hawkeyes had a massive win against Maryland 51-14 on Friday night. They forced 7 turnovers against the Terrapins Friday night.
The Ohio State defense has not been as dominant as the Hawkeyes this season against Power 5 opponents the Buckeyes have given up 31 and 35 points respectively.
