The USA TODAY Coaches Poll has already been released. We still have a few weeks remaining until the Associated Press reveals its top 25 rankings for the 2019 season.

So it’s only appropriate that ESPN fills that void in the middle by unveiling its preseason power heading into another college football season. Much like the Coaches Poll, the B1G was represented well.

Seven B1G teams ranked in the top 25 in ESPN’s power rankings, led by Ohio State. The Buckeyes were the only team to crack the top five out of the conference, landing at the No. 5 spot. Here’s a look at who ESPN tabbed as the top five teams:

  1. Clemson
  2. Alabama
  3. Georgia
  4. Oklahoma
  5. Ohio State

Here’s where all seven B1G teams stack up:

  • No. 5: Ohio State
  • No. 6: Michigan
  • No. 15: Penn State
  • No. 18: Iowa
  • No. 19: Nebraska
  • No. 22: Wisconsin
  • No. 24: Michigan State

You can view ESPN’s full top 25 list here.
