Ohio State-Michigan draws highest-rated regular season game for FOX

Everybody was tuning in for Saturday’s rivalry clash between Ohio State and Michigan. It resulted in a record-breaking afternoon for FOX.
Sunday morning, FOX Sports released a statement saying that The Game between No. 9 Ohio State and Michigan drew FOX’s “best metered market rating ever” for a college football game in the regular season. The rating/share was 6.7/17, according to the release.
That was slightly higher than the previous record of 6.4, which was set on Oct. 28 by the Top 10 clash between the Buckeyes and Penn State.

Ohio State-Michigan may not have had the same implications on the line as a year ago, but this record-breaking rating is just further evidence that this is one of the top rivalries in all of sports.
Despite an early 14-0 deficit, the Buckeyes posted a 31-20 win over the Wolverines to claim their sixth straight victory in the rivalry game.
