Is it any surprise Gus Johnson’s golden voice was involved in one of the most-watched windows in college football?

Fox’s Big Noon Saturday game between Ohio State and Nebraska was announced as the most-watched game in college football for Week 10. Fox Sports’ Joel Klatt put the news on Twitter Tuesday afternoon:

It edged out LSU-Alabama.

Since Fox Sports introduced it in 2019, the segment has been a huge hit. Gus Johnson and Klatt’s call of the Nebraska-Ohio State game was the most-watched telecast on any network. There were 5.3 million people watching that game on Saturday. That game had roughly 2.6 million more viewers than Nebraska/Purdue in Week 9, which was a 97 percent increase.

The Big Noon Kickoff also gained 1.2 million viewers since the move as well. This is up 57 percent from 2019’s Week 10 game which ad 812,000 viewers.

Can Ohio State-Michigan top those numbers in three weeks? We’ll see.
