And Ohio State signee Jeremy Ruckert (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) made headlines recently with his comments about the rivalry with Michigan. Ruckert is the No. 1 TE in the class of 2018 who recently signed with the Buckeyes, and boy, he’s talented. He’s the No. 1 player in the state of New York and the nation’s No. 32 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The New York native recently had some eye-raising comments when speaking with 247Sports’s Brandon Huffman.

“I don’t know why they call it a rivalry,” Ruckert said. “I think we’ve won the last [six] in a row and [13] of the last [14]. So I don’t see it as a rivalry.”

The Buckeyes have won the last six games against the Wolverines, but something tells us Urban Meyer will have a few words for him once he sets foot on campus.
