Ohio State student section makes a merger with LSU to form Block Eaux
Ohio State players have been very vocal in their backing of former Buckeye backup quarterback turned LSU transfer starting quarterback Joe Burrow, and the OSU student section has apparently been so enthralled with Burrow’s success that it is officially making a merger with LSU fandom.
That is, of course, if you are to believe the “press release” the Ohio State student section organization put out on Twitter.
The Block O is proposing — or perhaps has consummated — the type of power merger that would make most Fortune 500 companies blush. According to the release, the student section, in a show of solidarity with Burrow and the Tigers, will now be known as The Football Committee of Block Eaux.

The statement was addressed to the OSU and LSU communities collectively.
“The Football Committee has decided to join forces with Louisiana State Football after our dearest Jeaux Borreaux’s transfer and subsequent success. LSU does not have an official student section organization, hence The (Former) Football Committee of Block O will now go on as The Football Committee of Block Eaux. This will geaux down as Eauxhieaux’s Louisiana Purchase.”
“Geaux Bucks. Geaux Tigers,” the statement concluded.

Burrow has been great for LSU so far since his transfer, having thrown for 540 yards and three touchdowns in LSU’s 3-0 start. Those stats include 249 yards and a touchdown in the No. 12 Tiger’s 22-21 win over No. 7 Auburn.
It stands to reason that Ohio State fans are very excited for their former backup quarterback, so perhaps this merger will stand.
What happens if the Tigers and Buckeyes happen to meet in the College Football Playoff, though?
That’s a bridge The Football Committee of Block Eaux would probably rather not cross right now.
