The Minnesota Golden Gophers have seen several big players contribute to the football program, but none have them have contributed as much or as long as left guard Conner Olson.

He has made his 52nd career start for Minnesota versus Maryland, the most in program history.

Olson has been with Minnesota since the 2016 College Football season after being signed as the 47th rated guard in the 2016 national recruiting class according to 247Sports Composite. In his previous games before the matchup against Maryland, Olson has started 22 games at left guard, 15 starts at center, and finally, 14 starts at right guard.

He has been selected a part of the academic B1G for the past three seasons and he was selected as the All-B1G Third-Team this past season.
