One final team? Fans vote on who should get 4th spot in College Football Playoff
On Tuesday night, Cincinnati got the nod into the fourth spot of the College Football Playoff by the selection committee. Fans agree.
This week, ESPN released a poll to have fans vote on which team should be penciled into that fourth spot heading into the final week of the regular season. Cincinnati received the favorable amount of votes, as well.
Per the poll, 63% of fans believe the Bearcats belong in that spot. Michigan came in the second spot with 17% of the votes. Oklahoma State and Notre Dame were tied at 10%.

For the first time this season, Cincinnati was named the No. 4 team in the College Football Playoff Poll. If the Bearcats win out, they’ll have a great shot to be the first Group of 5 team to earn a bid.
It makes for a fun close to the regular season with so many teams still in the mix.
