Oregon beats out USC, other top programs for 4-star defensive lineman
Oregon picked up a huge win in the 2026 recruiting cycle on Sunday morning.
The Ducks landed a commitment from 4-star defensive lineman Bott Mulitalo. He chose Oregon over programs such as USC, Washington, Tennessee and others.

Mulitalo is a massive pickup for Oregon in the class of 2026. He’s the No. 110 overall player and the No. 15 defensive lineman in the country for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 3 player from the state of Utah.
He attends Lone Peak High School in American Fork, Utah. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 275 pounds. The Ducks initially offered him a scholarship back in January of 2024.
Oregon is off to an extremely strong start in the class of 2026. While this group of recruits won’t officially sign until next December, the Ducks are up to 8 verbal commits in the 2026 cycle. The group is ranked No. 1 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Oregon already has 2 5-star prospects committed in the class of 2026: athlete Kendre Harrison and offensive tackle Kodi Greene.
