Oregon did not play a pretty game last Saturday night against Boise State.

But the ending was beautiful, the Ducks survived on a last-second field goal, and everyone at Autzen Stadium was feeling very good as they filed out after a pulsating 37-34 victory over the pesky Broncos.

Oregon gave those fans in attendance and those who watched it on TV something to remember the victory by, releasing a game recap video titled “6 Hours at Autzen,” chronicling everything from the pregame leadup to kickoff to the game to the postgame celebration.

The Ducks made it a struggle for the 2nd time in 2 weeks to begin the 2024 season, but they’re 2-0 after Atticus Sappington drilled a 25-yard field goal as time expired.

After fending off Idaho, 24-14, in a tougher-than-expected season opener at Autzen in Week 1, the Ducks found themselves trailing the Broncos, 34-27, early in the 4th quarter. But Oregon answered with a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Noah Whittington to tie the game just 16 seconds later.

Then Sappington had the final say with his winning kick, his only field goal of the game, which made up for his missed extra point attempt early in the 3rd quarter.

Sure, the ugly victory cost Oregon in the AP Poll, where the Ducks fell from No. 7 to No. 9. But Oregon got the win, and now has the video to celebrate it all.

Dillon Gabriel threw for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Ducks, who venture to hostile territory for the 1st time this season on Saturday afternoon when they visit rival Oregon State.
