Oregon needed some late game magic to keep a hot February going.

The Ducks forced overtime after erasing a 16-point second-half deficit, going on to upset No. 11 Wisconsin 77-73 in Saturday. After losing 5 straight, Dana Altman’s team has won 4 in a row. Meanwhile, the Badgers saw their 5-game win streak come to an end.

The Ducks trailed 66-63 with 13 seconds remaining in regulation, but Jackson Shelstad drained a long 3 to cap a 9-0 run and tie the game:

Wisconsin took a 38-26 lead into the locker room and led by as much as 55-39 with 12 minutes remaining in the second half. After John Tonje made it a 66-57 advantage with 3:16 left, the Ducks turned the tables, their late-game run sealed by Shelstad’s 3.

In the extra session, the Badgers pulled ahead 71-70 on Nolan Winter’s triple with 2:12 to go. But they were held to just 1 field goal the rest of the way as the Ducks eventually pulled ahead for good — taking a 72-71 lead behind a pair of Nate Bittle free throws with 1:34 left.

Bittle finished with a game-high 23 points and 6 rebounds, while Tonje was Wisconsin’s leading scorer with 22 points. The Badgers were forced into 17 turnovers while the Ducks committed just 8 of their own.

Wisconsin hosts Washington on Tuesday. Oregon welcomes USC to Eugene on Saturday.
