Oregon lands commitment from former USC OL Emmanuel Pregnon
Oregon is looking to rebuild and regroup for 2025 after a resounding success in its first Big Ten season. On Tuesday, the Ducks landed a major piece for 2025 with an experienced offensive lineman from the portal.
That player is Emmanuel Pregnon, a veteran performer with previous stops at Wyoming and more recently at USC. Pregnon transferred to the Trojans in 2023 and was the starting left guard and a key cog in the offensive line for Lincoln Riley.
Now, he’ll spend his final season of eligibility with the Ducks:
BREAKING: USC star transfer IOL Emmanuel Pregnon has Committed to Oregon, he tells @on3sports

Upon entering the portal, Pregnon was rated the No. 2 interior offensive lineman available per 247 Sports and the 11th overall player regardless of position. Pregnon joins defensive lineman Bear Alexander as ex-Trojans heading to Eugene for the 2025 season.
The loss of Pregnon was already significant for USC after it appeared the veteran was entering the NFL Draft. Instead, the Trojans still lose Pregnon, only to a conference rival this time, and will also lose 2 other starters on the offensive line.
So far, Pregnon is the 9th transfer commitment for Oregon as Dan Lanning and his staff continue to utilize the portal to their advantage. They have the 9th-ranked transfer recruiting class per 247 Sports, including 7 players with a 4-star transfer rating.
