Oregon lands transfer commitment from former Ole Miss DB Jadon Canady
Oregon is looking to get back and compete for a national championship after losing to Ohio State in the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff this past season. The Ducks were the only team to enter the CFP undefeated, with the loss to the Buckeyes being the lone blemish.
The Ducks once again figure to be 1 of the best teams in college football next season, and added a transfer on Monday that should only help Oregon make another run.
Ole Miss defensive back Jadon Canady will be heading to Eugene to help the Ducks try and go further in the CFP next season.

Canady began his college career at Tulane, where played in 19 games. The past 2 seasons he has been at Ole Miss, but it was last year where he really shined as he had 11 starts last season.
During the 2024 season, Canady finished with 38 tackles, 12 PBUs and 2.5 TFLs, and he sat out the bowl game as he looked for a new school to play at.
It is a little late in the transfer portal, but there are still some talented players who can contribute that are still in the portal. For the Ducks to secure a commitment from a guy who started 11 games last season in the SEC is something that could provide Oregon with some help in the secondary.
