Oregon defeated Idaho last week, 24-14, but it was a disjointed performance. The Ducks will look to play much better on Saturday night as they host Boise State at Autzen Stadium.

Before Saturday’s game, the Ducks released their availability report, which listed linebacker Jeffrey Bassa, wideout Gary Bryant Jr., and offensive lineman Matthew Bedford all as questionable.

If available, Bedford is expected to start at right guard. Bryant would also presumably slide into the starting lineup.

Jahlil Florence, a starter at corner when healthy, will miss his second game to begin the season. Defensive back Dakoda Fields, defensive lineman My’Keil Gardner, offensive lineman Dave Iuli, tight end Travis Brashear, and kicker Andrew Boyle will also miss the game.

During his press conference on Monday, Oregon coach Dan Lanning said the Ducks were optimistic that both Bassa and Bryant would be available.

Pregame indications were that Bassa would at least attempt to give it a go against the Broncos. According to The Oregonian’s James Crepea, Bassa went through pregame warm-ups with the team.

In the game last week, the Ducks did a number of good things. They finished with nearly 500 yards of offense as Dillon Gabriel threw for 380 yards, but the team couldn’t finish off drives.

Kickoff between Oregon and Boise State is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET, and the game will be aired on Peacock.
