Oregon reveals uniform combination for Week 11 matchup vs. Maryland
Oregon is No. 1 in the country and taking on all competitors so far this season. Next up is a showdown vs. Maryland in Week 11, and the Ducks are donning more iconic threads for the weekend.
Wednesday evening, Oregon confirmed the Ducks will be wearing a variation of the “Mighty Oregon” throwbacks that were unveiled last season. There are a few minor changes, but the classic kelly green uniforms and bright yellow pants remain.
This time around, the helmet will also be a bright yellow lid with yellow facemask to go with green and white striping down the middle. However, the change features Oregon’s “O” logo on the sides instead of the retro interlocking U and O logo from last year’s version.
The sleeves of the uniform are also a bit different. The bold yellow stripe across the middle of the sleeves with the Duck inside the O logo has been removed in favor of the more traditional logo of the Duck mascot.
The changes are distinctive but do not takeaway from the fantastic retro look for Oregon. The Ducks wore a white jersey version of the throwback against UCLA earlier this season.
