Silva was listed at 6-7, 305 pounds on the 2024 Oregon roster. He joined the program ahead of the 2023 season.
Silva came to Oregon from Fullerton College, where he spent 2020-22. As a sophomore, Silva was named All-Southern League second-team as an offensive lineman. He was rated one of the top JUCO prospects for the 2023 recruiting cycle.
In 2023, Silva appeared in 7 games for the Ducks. He saw playing time at left tackle and on special teams for Dan Lanning’s squad.
This past season, Silva played in Oregon’s games against Oregon State, UCLA, Michigan State, Purdue, Maryland and Washington.
Though Silva only saw limited playing time at Oregon, he is likely to draw interest in the portal. A lineman with Silva’s size and Power conference playing time will stand out to teams looking to boost their o-line depth.
We’ll see where he decides to continue his college football career.
