Oregon set a new Autzen Stadium record on Saturday night.
With No. 2 Ohio State visiting for a massive Big Ten collision between top-5 teams, the Ducks officially set a new attendance record for a single game. Oregon announced an attendance of 60,129, well beyond the 54,000-seat capacity inside Autzen Stadium.

The previous record attendance of 60,055 was set back on Oct. 15, 2011, against Arizona State. Per Duck Territory’s Matt Prehm, it also got close to breaking the state of Oregon’s sporting event attendance record — 63,000 for a 1993 Indy Race at Portland Motor Speedway.
Saturday’s game marked the first time since 2016 that Oregon has hosted an AP top-5 opponent. It was also the first time in Autzen Stadium history that both teams entered the game inside the AP top 5.
“Obviously, you come to a place like Oregon to play in big-time games and this is one of those opportunities, but to get to be a part of big-time atmospheres as well,” coach Dan Lanning said on Monday. “And certainly, this is one of those.”
The environment was electric inside Autzen, and fans showed up well before kickoff. The student section was packed with more than an hour still to go on the pregame clock.
