Oregon beat Purdue 35-0 on Saturday night in West Lafayette to improve to 7-0 on the season.

The Ducks dominated this game from start-to-finish. They scored a pair of touchdowns in the first quarter and never looked back. Oregon tacked on another TD in the second quarter and 2 more in the 4th to get to the final score of 35-0.

Purdue was never a serious threat in this game. The Boilermakers averaged 5.1 yards per play and were unable to convert on key downs. Purdue went just 4-for-12 on third down and 0-for-3 on third down in the loss.

Dillon Gabriel had a strong performance as he continues to boost his Heisman Trophy résumé. Gabriel completed 21-of-25 passes for 290 yards and 2 touchdowns. Gabriel is +260 to win the Heisman Trophy, per the latest odds from FanDuel. That trails only Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty atop the odds leaderboard.

Oregon seems to be playing its best football right now at the midseason mark. The Ducks had no issues going on the road on a short week to West Lafayette following their emotional win over Ohio State in Week 8.

Oregon will host Illinois in a potential top-25 matchup next weekend.
