Oregon easily dispatched Michigan State in Week 6 to stay perfect on the season.

The Ducks moved up to No. 3 in the latest AP Poll after improving to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

While the game was a hit on the field for the Ducks, it was also a hit in the ratings for FOX. The game drew 2,842,000 viewers on Friday night and had a peak of 3,568,000 viewers.

The game was the most-watched telecast of the day for the 18-49-year-old demographic and was +22% over last October’s regular Friday night programming average.

The Ducks won 31-10 and never struggled in the matchup. The Spartans were held scoreless until adding 10 in the 4th quarter.

Dillon Gabriel threw for 257 yards with 2 TDs and added 22 rushing yards and a rushing TD. Jordan James had another excellent night out of the backfield, taking 24 carries for 166 yards and 1 TD.

The Ducks defense came to play as well, holding the Spartans to just 250 total yards and 10 points. The unit also forced a fumble and collected 4 tackles for loss.

In Week 8, FOX will feature Northwestern at Maryland as the Friday night matchup.

Oregon, meanwhile, will welcome the Ohio State Buckeyes to town in Week 8. The new conference rivals will kick off from Autzen Stadium on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
