The Pac-12 has announced when its football teams will be returning for the 2020 college football season. It will be before the calendar hits Thanksgiving week.

On Thursday, the Pac-12 announced that the football season may commence on Nov. 6 for schools that have necessary local and state health approvals. The conference was one of four FBS leagues to postpone the football season in August, and the second Power 5 conference behind the B1G.

Recently, the B1G decided to reinstate its fall football season, as well. It will begin playing games on Oct. 24.

ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura and Heather Dinich are reporting that a seven-game, conference season will begin on Nov. 6 with the conference championship played on Dec. 18, ahead of the College Football Playoff selection committee’s reveal of the final top 25 and CFP field of 4 on Dec. 20.

The Pac-12’s return means all Power 5 conferences will be up for consideration for the College Football Playoff.
