This comes off the heels of the B1G, Pac-12 and ACC all announcing that they are forming an alliance between the three conferences in the near future.
The most intriguing part of the alliance will be the scheduling as all three conferences try to pull off scheduling in mainly football and men’s and women’s basketball.
What is noticeably missing from the three conference alliance is the Big 12, which has already had two of its member in Oklahoma and Texas jump ship to the SEC.
Will the Pac-12 be poaching members from the Big 12 soon? They could also look to add a perennial group of five power in Boise State.
The Pac-12 kicks off their football season when UCLA hosts Hawaii this Saturday in a Week 0 matchup.
