Pat McAfee helped make one Oregon student incredibly lucky on Saturday ahead of the No. 3 Ducks’ matchup against the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes.
It was quite the moment as the student drilled a 33-yard field goal to win the prize, and many may argue that former legendary Alabama head coach Nick Saban was to credit for his good fortune in what can be described as nothing less than a perfect hold.
Here’s a look at the life-changing moment for the student (and of Saban holding for a field goal, something you probably did not have drawn up):

There have been a lot of interesting sights and scenes around Eugene in what is shaping up to be an electric College Gameday environment, but there are some familiar faces missing as Lee Corso is absent for his second consecutive week as he continues to feel under the weather. Kirk Herbstreit’s dog, Ben Herbstreit, is a regular attendee of the games as well but was forced to miss this week due to the fact he is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
It will be interesting to see who ultimately comes out on top with Oregon and Ohio State set to kick off at 4:30 p.m. PT in Autzen Stadium.
