Pat McAfee honors Oregon's 'Shout' tradition with electric College GameDay selection
Pat McAfee is known for going over the top at times on College GameDay – especially when picking the matchup for the team on location. This weekend, the GameDay crew journeyed to Eugene, Oregon for the Ducks’ matchup against No. 2 Ohio State.
The Ducks are the No. 3 team in the country and have an impressive win over a strong Boise State team. This game is by far the toughest test either team has faced this season.
It’s also a very important game for the race to the Big Ten Championship game. The winner has a massive advantage moving forward as we near the back half of the schedule.
But who has the advantage after this week, Oregon or Ohio State. McAfee paid tribute to Oregon’s “Shout” tradition while making his pick. Of course it’s the Ducks:
OHIO STATE HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE JUGGERNAUT..
WITH THAT BEING SAID..

Ohio State has a really tough battle ahead of them. The Buckeyes are travelling west of the Mississippi river for the first time all season, and away from Columbus for just the 2nd time. The Buckeyes have been dominant thus far this season, but they haven’t played a team worth anything through the first 6 weeks.
That changed tonight at 7:30 p.m. on NBC.
