Paul Finebaum has a new top six after Week 11.
On Sunday, the SEC Network host unveiled his weekly rankings on Twitter. He still has a very SEC-heavy top six, but is showing the B1G some love with his latest rankings. Finebaum has both Ohio State and Minnesota inside the top six, something not a lot of people are doing.
Here’s what Finebaum’s top six looks like after Week 11:
- LSU
- Ohio State
- Clemson
- Alabama
- Georgia
- Minnesota
Finebaum does have two one-loss SEC teams ahead of Minnesota, despite the Gophers’ top five victory over Penn State on Saturday, which is interesting. But he did take the step to put P.J. Fleck’s bunch in the mix, something not many are doing.
Ohio State sits at No. 2, not because of what the Buckeyes have done, but because of LSU’s big win over Alabama on Saturday. And the Crimson Tide being in the top four is very questionable, considering they have no good wins this season.
It’ll be interesting to see what the committee says after a crazy week of college football.
