Paul Finebaum and Heather Dinich updated their top 4 teams in college football heading into Week 9.

The top 4 teams will reach the College Football Playoff in December at the end of the regular season. The top 4 could see a major change in the final month of the season.

In an appearance on Get Up, Finebaum and Dinich discussed ranked the 4 best teams in college football. Here is Dinich’s rankings:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Georgia
  3. Tennessee
  4. Oregon

In Dinich’s rankings, the only team with a loss was Oregon. Ohio State, Georgia, and Tennessee made the list as undefeated teams. Outside of Oregon, Finebaum’s list was similar. Here is Finebaum’s top 4 teams:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Georgia
  3. Tennessee
  4. Michigan

Finebaum and Dinich had the same order for the top 3 and had different teams in the No. 4 spot. Finebaum’s list is most likely more accurate heading into Week 9. He included 4 of the 6 remaining undefeated teams in college football.

All 5 teams in the 2 rankings have important games in Week 9. Ohio State has a pivotal road matchup against Penn State. Michigan will take on Michigan State in an important rivalry game. If Ohio State and Michigan can stay undefeated until the final week of the regular season, it could make the top 4 rankings very interesting.
