Michigan State and Michigan want to avoid a postgame incident like what happened Saturday at all costs.
Following Michigan’s win over the Spartans, Michigan State players got into a scuffle with a Wolverine player in the tunnel, striking him multiple times before he was eventually pulled away. It was borderline assault and a terrible look for the Spartan football program.

Paul Finebaum reacted to the footage above Sunday on ESPN with Matt Barrie. He says kicking the players off the team is a no-brainer for head coach Mel Tucker
“I don’t know why we’re still waiting for a decision here, there’s no way these guys can remain on the football team. Simply outrageous behavior, it borders on criminal behavior. I’m just saying what it looks like without knowing everything about it, but I have a lot of respect for Mel Tucker and if he doesn’t kick these guys off the team, I don’t know how he’s going to be able to face the music.”
Michigan is still undefeated after the 29-7 win, while Michigan State falls to 3-5.
