Paul Finebaum revealed his concern level with Alabama heading into Week 5.
Alabama is competing with the entire country for another College Football Playoff appearance. Alabama is coming off a 55-3 win over Vanderbilt and that could be the smoothest win for the Crimson Tide in a while.

Alabama is expected to reach the Playoff on an annual basis and this will be another challenging year for Alabama. In an appearance on ESPN’s “Get Up,” Finebaum explained why he is concerned about Alabama’s upcoming schedule over the next few weeks:
“Alabama is in a very difficult stretch right now… It’s really hard to believe they’re going to survive this stretch, especially the road games, based on what we’ve seen of them in recent years,” Finebaum said. “They struggled on the road against Texas. Last year, they had a hard time in 3 of their 4 road games… I’m fairly concerned about Alabama over these next few weeks.”
Finebaum is worried that Alabama could slip up before the end of the regular season. Alabama had a tough outing on the road at Texas and the schedule is not getting any easier. Alabama’s next 6 games are against Arkansas, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Mississippi State, LSU, and Mississippi. That is a difficult schedule against 4 teams that are currently ranked in the top 25. Alabama will be on the road for 2 of the next 3 games.
Alabama will be on the road against No. 20 Arkansas on Saturday.
