Penn State flips talented WR from Duke weeks ahead of Early Signing Period
With the Early Signing Period quickly approaching for the 2021 recruiting class, Penn State was able to make a big addition to its wide receiver room.
On Monday, the Nittany Lions were able to flip 3-star wide receiver Harrison Wallace, a native of Pike Road, Alabama. He had previously been committed to Duke as a member of the 2021 recruiting class.
Wallace announced his decision with a video posted on social media. He’s now the 15th prospect to join James Franklin’s 2021 class.

Per 247Sports, Wallace ranks as one of the Top 100 wide receivers in the 2021 cycle and sits as the No. 554 prospect overall. He received 11 offers on the recruiting front, picking Penn State over Houston, Maryland, Duke, South Carolina, Tennessee and Tulsa.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver out of Alabama joins another strong recruiting class at Penn State. Currently, the Nittany Lions sit at No. 4 in the recruiting rankings among B1G teams and are No. 20 nationally.
Penn State is currently 2-5 during the 2020 season.
